Welcome to the Tactile Robotics Laboratory

We are located in the capital of Kazakhstan and develop tactile sensors to integrate them with robots for object manipulation in human-robot interaction. We also design of haptic interfaces to study tactile human perception.

Exploring the Future of Tactile Robotics: A Journey through Our Laboratory

Projects

Breast Lump Detection
Tactile glove for lump detection using portable tactile glove for the detection and localization of a lump inside silicone breast prototypes imitating the breast shape with the outer skin, inner substance and chest wall using a recurrent deep learning architecture that can predict the breast presence of the lump and determine its size and location based on application of fine-tuning on the oncologist-mammologist palpation data for the validation of the CBE with the tactile glove.
